Our Training session will be part of SO CAL FLEET SERVICES INC. 2nd annual open house at their Anaheim Facility. Hosted by owner, Tom Franchina. Our training program for this meeting will be presented by guest speaker’s Ed & Pam Carlson with SAFER Compliance. Ed is a retired CHP Motor Carrier Officer, and his wife, Pam, is in the transportation compliance business. They will be presenting a 1-hour class Basic Inspection of Terminal Training Requirements for Fire Apparatus as required by the DMV/CHP/FMCSA for commercial vehicles.
Lunch will be provided by our venue host, SO CAL FLEET SERVICES INC.,

Industry News: Passing of Ernest A. Kussmaul
NewsMr, Kussmaul, who resided in West Sayville, NY, will be fondly remembered as an accomplished and solution-oriented engineer. He founded Kussmaul Electronics (KECO) in a small shop in 1967. The business grew as it expanded its extensive product line known for innovative solutions for the Emergency Vehicle market. Kussmaul Electronics has provided employment for many people since its founding. Widely loved and respected by his ‘KECO family’ and the industry, he continued to engineer new solutions as company president until he retired in 2015. Ernest was a devoted husband to his late wife, (deceased 2016) Marilyn, and father to his daughter, Dr. Annette Kussmaul.
Visitation will be at the Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home, 245 Main St. West Sayville, NY on Wednesday, May 2nd 2018.
2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Church services will be held on Thursday, May 3rd at 11:30 a.m at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sayville, N.Y. Interment to follow at Sayville Union Cemetary.
