Fire Management 1 Class

There have been numerous inquiries into the availability of the Fire Management 1 Class. Below are the specifics on the next available class. Class size will be limited to 20-25 people so we recommend you move quickly if you are in need of this certification.

When:   

Monday July 16, 2012 through Friday July 20, 2012.  There is some leeway in regards to class time schedules- a 4/10, 
6:00am- 4:30pm this will end the class Thursday afternoon or a 5/8,  8:00am to 4:30pm. Please give your input to Jeremy.

Due to limited onsite parking, please park on Del Mar Avenue
 
Cost:       

$250.00 Payable to the City of San Gabriel – this includes state certification test and textbook. Payment can be made on the first day of class.

SCFMA–Training Topic Change for Feb. 21st Meeting

********Due to circumstances beyond their control Bendix will not be able to do their brake class this month. Westpac has been able to get Delco to do a troubleshooting class on alternators and starters. The February session will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 starting at 10:00am.  The session will be held at the San Diego Convention Center:

This month’s training presentation will be on alternators and starters. This training will be presented by DELCO and WESTPAC heavy duty truck parts.

Please RSVP as soon as possible by phone or email so that we ensure adequate seating.  Coffee, juice and pastries will be provided compliments of WESTPAC.

As this session is being held in conjunction with the FirehouseWorld training symposium at the San Diego Convention Center, South Coast Fire Equipment is offering Pierce VIP exhibitor floor passes to the SCFM Association.  To receive your complimentary VIP exhibitor floor pass just open the attachment and enter “Promo Code” EX151.  Your pass will be ready for you at the convention center exhibitor floor registration booth when you arrive.

Exhibitor floor hours are:

The March session will be held on March 20, 2012 at the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Shop (next to Station 4).

The CFM Academy will be in April so a separate SCFMA session will not be held.

The January session will be presented by Quinn Caterpillar to familiarize the SCFMA with the new Caterpillar on-road product line. This training session will be held at Rio Hondo.
