The Truckee Fire Protection District is seeking candidates for the position of Fleet and Facilities Mechanic.

The Position
Under supervision of the Fleet and Facilities Director performs automotive maintenance and repair to support the daily operation of the Fire District shop functions. This position works a 40-hour work week. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Fleet and Facilities Director with a full range of automotive service maintaining light, medium and heavy gasoline and diesel motorized equipment including but not limited to: auto parts pick up, light vehicle maintenance including: oil and filter changes, vehicle brakes, cleaning vehicle underside with steam cleaner, brushes and chemicals, and tire rotations, ability to work with fire crews on a daily basis.
